D means define your define. There is one way to define audience DISC. D means dominance, to talk to Dominance audience, information should be straightforward and challenge which is to support decision making; I means influence, influence are people who put forward ideas, to talk to influence audience to give them enough time to talk and be patient etc. A means Assess your own needs and customer needs. At least one of your needs should be addressed how long time you are allocated. R means Response. You expect audience's response can be positive, neutral, hostile and uninterested. Don't play safe you know everything and go for a presentation without preparation. Don't bore your audience. One slide needs to take 2-3 minutes for a quality meeting. K means knowledge. Have a reasonable understanding of your audiences knowledge. and avoid abbreviation and jargon which will distract your audience. If there are too much knowledge required to understand your presentation, you can think about sharing presentation in advance or put appendix in the end.
